Bukit Gambang Resort

We chose a family suite at the resort, the first for our children. We went to the Supermarket on the way back from the beach in Kuantan, and bought lots of fruit, a rotisserie chicken, cheese and wine for dinner.

Although the resort advertised free wifi, and there was a signal from the access points, we never could figure out how to get on the internet while we were there despite repeated requests for IT to help. Good thing we had iPads with many games for the kids to play in the morning while we slept-in.

The family suite was spacious--2 fully air-conditioned bedrooms. One room had a queen and a twin bed, the other room had 2 twin beds.

Ian and Aria were very excited that they did not have to share a bed, and have their own space!

We had 2 full baths!

This is Chef Raman. He made the kids very happy while at the resort.

We ate our breakfasts at the resort--the eggs to order and waffle station were popular with our kiddos! Ian loved watching the chef prepare his food!

Chef Raman took to our kiddos, and cooked them a very special pasta topping, in addition to turning them onto Dory Fish cooked in herbed butter.

After dinner, we spent some time in a karaoke booth that was more like an arcade enclosure.

...and fought out a fierce game of Foos Ball!

Here is a dip that won't feature anytime soon at our family dinners--fermented durian sambal!

The pasta that left an indelible impression on our children, courtesy of Chef Raman!
