Our school was invited to the Shangri-la's Rasa Sayang in Batu Ferringhi.
The guests of the hotel were thrilled to hear Christmas Carols in a muslim nation.
The High School choir did a particularly fine job presenting Pentatonix's arrangement of "Carol of the Bells".
The hotel had created a 'tree' pyramid of goods for underprivileged kids, and invited them to the Christmas 'tree' lighting. They were gloriously unscripted, plopping themselves on each other and the guests of the hotel. Commenting in awe at the pretty singing.
One of the cutest parts of the event was that the kids bonded with our students quickly and held their hands, not wanting to leave. The hotel gave our students lovely goody bags with fun gifts inside too.
