Christmas Day

It was very late at night. We allowed the kiddos to stay up past midnight into Christmas Day! Aria diligently monitors NORAD tracks Santa, giving us minute-by-minute updates on where he is and his overall progress of gifts delivered. Good job, Santa!

Later, we pressed Aria into being Santa's helper to distribute the presents to the designated benefactors.

Then we took turns to open our gifts, one at a time.

Hmmm... I wonder if I have to share my gift! We are a household of Sundried Prune Monsters!

True to nature, the kiddos could not wait to finish opening their gifts before playing with what was already opened!

Mochi loved diving and stalking through the noisy, crackling debris that was wrapping paper, plastic packing pieces and boxes.

It was beginning to get confusing tracking what we received and from whom! Our hearts were full and we celebrated our blessings.

It was time for "The Polar Express"

While mom cranked out more baked goods.

Whaddaya mean I can't eat them all by myself?!!

Our festively dressed helpers doing not-so-festive chores.

Later that afternoon, I began grilling for our shared dinner with our neighbors.

Harold threw down his best cooking moves for our families!

That's how we celebrated Christmas in Penang!
