Succulent Steaks
As a tribute to having a grill that worked, I decided to burn some NZ Prime Sirloin. I had each slab of beef custom cut to about 1.5 inches and came out about 1/2 pound after I trimmed off the fat. They grilled up to a medium-rare very nicely!
To that I added some Garlic Seared Kailan (similar to broccoli rabe/kale), Grilled Tomatoes, and a harvest hash of Golden Potato, Carrot and Onion in a foil pack grilled with a generous slab of the fat I sliced off the steak...
Okay, the thought occurred to me to polish it off all by myself, but here I am actually portioning the steak for the family... no really, I was!
