It was a magical combination of great company, perfect weather.
The people were friendly, the snorkeling easily accessible by our kids and certainly inspired them.

We were there for 3 nights, but could easily spend an entire week. But we returned to Penang to help send off our friends, the Chans.

The people are friendly and helpful, the selection of accommodation excellent from chalets for sedate couples to party-goers, entry level resorts all the way up to luxury resort.
Part of me understands that this was a perfect combination for the moment. Many things could change on our next visit, but we have already made plans to return. Hopefully, we can certify the entire family to dive next time!
Good times, great memories.
The ride back, with pained smiles.
Dinner outside Gerik. Nasi Kandar, Roti Canai.
And then Lilian spotted dessert :)
The vendor was astonished: "You want to eat them now? ALL three of them?!!" Well, she sold them in bundles of 3, and they were only RM10. And I didn't want the car to stink all the way back...
When we pulled into a gas station, we had a magnificent visitor. This moth was the size of my opened hand!
We miss you! And will think of you all fondly when we visit Perhentian.
