Breaking Durian Together

Our neighbors scored some durians and invited us over to sample what they found.

Because it was very late in the season, and the island has been inundated with rain, the durians were bland and juicy.

Nevertheless, it was fun breaking durian with our friends! and neighbors, the Chans!

I even tried a little trick than mom taught me which is to gather all the durian pulp and fold it into vanilla ice cream. With such a mild durian, the combination was interesting.


The Chans were more than game and bravely explored the King of Stinky Fruit!
