Toilet Training Mochi

After Mochi started using the litter box with the toilet seat on top, we covered a piece of cardboard with a plastic bag and placed it on the toilet.

We covered the board with litter from her litter box to scent it.

After she used it, we left some old litter and added more new.

After a few days, I began to cut a hole in the board to introduce Mochi to the bowl below.

She's started to really inspect the water through the hole, and she seems to be a bit confused, and only uses the litter one time before using the shower stall for additional deposits.

We have to be quick about resetting the litter often and quickly or we have to field the deposit in the shower stall.

We enlarged the hole, and Mochi is definitely curious.

Hopefully, she will take to her toilet training quickly.
