After eating regularly at Hawker Stalls and Coffeeshops for a year, we finally sampled the offerings at another restaurant popular with the Dalat Community--Mizi's!
The set menu there includes a soup, main course, bottomless ice cream and drink for RM25. Now that is actually more than we normally pay for a meal, but realize that is merely US$8 a person per meal, and the portions are colossal!
For some reason, Aria really, Really, REALLY wanted a salad, and so ordered this gargantuan Chicken Caeser Salad!
Ian ordered a Seafood Spaghetti chock full of fish, mussels, prawns, squid. It was garnished with cherry tomatoes and olives. It was so yummy Ian was fighting me off from just a taste!
Monica had a generous portion of Chicken Cordon Bleu. She did not care for the red sauce, but the mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables were outstanding.
I had an upgrade to the London Grill. For RM18 (US$6) more, I got a grilled Filet Steak, genuine Lamb Chop, Grilled Chicken Breast, and German Sausage on top of a rich, mushroom pepper gravy.Yes, we have found another keeper in Penang.
