Finding the Cats New Homes

Loh knew a colleague in Stepping Stones who was called the 'Cat Lady'. At one point, Hasra had over 20 cats whom she spoiled with real fish and wet food.

So we were eager to offer Shoyu to her, knowing that she will take care of Shoyu well, but it was still heart-wrenching to give her up.

Hasra was very proud of sharing introducing Shoyu to her colleagues in Stepping Stone, but Shoyu was terrified.

Shoyu hid under the bed a lot at Hasra's house and moved around skittishly.

It would take some time for her to warm up to her new environment.

I took pictures of landmarks to find Hasra again should we have the chance to visit Shoyu in future.

Her husband and daughter were clearly pleased with welcoming Shoyu to their home adding to the two outside cats they already had.
