We slept well through the night, and chuckled at the minutia of new experiences such as learning to flush a "pumping toilet" The hallway bath needed to be pumped almost 7 times! Maybe we should call it "Naaman's Crapper"...
The haze was still obscuring the view, but Monica did a load of laundry and quickly learned to hang the clothes using a pole-picker.
Our host, Lydia, brought us to shop at Gurney Plaza (a mega-mall just 15 minutes away), and treated us to coffee and hot chocolate!
Ian could not even finish his Blueberry Muffin and Hot-Chocolate (it was so sweet). In contrast, Aria said perkily of the sweet treat: "I was feeling drained, but hot chocolate recharges my happy-batteries!!!"
Later that day, we were brought to TESCO for the first time. TESCO is touted to be like a Malaysian "Wal-Mart". As we walked in, we were greeted by the Kentucky Fried Chicken Mascot--KFC is very popular here!
