I don't care for heights... and I know this is a wonderful Atrium, but to me, it fields like an Amusement Park riding up the escalators to the top floor and peering down!
Ian (and now Aria) however, thinks it is great fun to ride up and down the escalators. Monica would join them too if she had the luxury of spending the time riding with them!
So, while Monica sifts through numerous stores to gather items for our house to make it feel more like home, I often volunteer to watch the kiddos ride the escalators!
I wimped out as long as I could, but eventually succumbed to the excited invitations to join the children on their "thrill" ride. I think it definitely caused my heart to skip a few beats and my knees to go soft!
I hate it when we are on the outer track and glance down!
Later, we took some time to explore more of the mall and found a few interesting Foot Reflexology Spas. RM88 (US$30) for 2 hours with massage!
We were not so excited about the Fish Doctor Spa. I was... until Monica asked me how they would sanitize the fish after eating away foot rot...?
Yes, I think I will stick to just gawking at the tanks of fish lined with benches!
We left pleased with ourselves and braved the oppressive, touristy vibe of the hawker strip outside the mall. There, I sampled a few memory foods that the rest of the family simply didn't like. Truth be known, the Pasembur (Indian Rojak) man crossed me by inflating the price to get Monica to pay far more than necessary, and it was stone cold and rubbery! Tourist Trap!
The Orr Chien (Oyster Omelette) was very good, but the textural goopiness was a tough sell for the family!
We were happy, until we discovered that Aria had left her sling bag containing her Nintendo DSi back at the restroom. By the time we got back there it was long gone!
