It was exciting to see that much of Georgetown still looks like I remembered it, and the narrow streets made driving the van through the area very challenging indeed!

The driving was so difficult that we passed the furniture store twice before finally spotting it. Then we struggled to find a suitable parking spot for the large school van we were driving.
After our transaction, we looked around a bit more to see where we were.
The old town was still charming, and we decided to return soon in order to explore on foot!
We were eager to investigate the sprawling roadside stalls and vendors to see what they were about and cross check them with the locals who knew them well!
My favorite kind of tourism is food hunting, so whaddaya know... I shamelessly see my world through food experiences!
But I gather that I am not alone!
I HAVE to find out whether the food is good or not, right?
It is almost a pre-requisite in Penang!
Besides, it recharges our batteries... .. .

Then it is time to brave the traffic again!
