Our wonderful neighbors (who also work at Dalat) took us to their favorite home cooking Chinese Restaurant in the neighborhood behind our condo. The meal was wonderful, yes--fine tofu with eggplant, greens with small deepfried flat fish, a wonderful omelette, sweet sour chicken!
What was really unusual was the scene that greeted us when we first arrived--a man had arranged about 50 soda cans in the alley behind the restaurant and was systematically crushing them by stomping on them. He did not look up one time and we got the photo discreetly.
