Homemade Lemonade

Monica came home with literally a sackful of lemons. After a few days spent staring at the produce drawer in the fridge, I realized when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade!

So I broke out the commercial juicer and we put Ian and Aria to work squeezing out the lemons. They are thick-rind varieties and quite mild. And when mixed with the green oranges, quite flavorful!

We thinned out the juice and combined some simple syrup made with dissolved brown sugar.









Here's the final product...
