Ah Seng the Chicken Man

Last night, we had Aria's friend from school, Esther, come over to spend some time together.They got on the computer to watch videos from Youtube and sing raucously. Peals of laughter quickly followed!


This morning, I spotted a bowl of Teochew blanched kidney, and had to try it with liver. Lovely home-comfort food from bygone days! Monica really liked the rich fish soup. Dad would be pleased.

Meet Ah Seng-he's a jolly round-faced man who works with this woman (wife?) who says little as she dismembers entire chicken carcasses for hours on end. they are very efficient. The product is fresh, and very well cleaned to order.
