Malaysian Burger

After a late Friday Evening spent palying board games at the school, I walked Ian back up the hill to our apartment and asked him if he was hungry. He told me he was, and to surprise him with something he had not eaten before. So I took him to the Burger Cart on the way up our hill. He normally doesn't start till about 9pm, so it was a treat for both of us to watch how he meticulously crafted our Malaysian Style Burgers.

He toasted our bread with butter, but also sliced our already thin patty into 2 discs and seasoned it with pepper and some chicken essence. Then he cracked an egg and smeared it carefully into a crepe-like disc and wrapped the burger in it! The salad included lettuce, tomato and cabbage, mayonnaise, chili-sauce, and sweet soy.

Very unusual, but Ian loved it!
