Ian experienced a rash flare up, but this one got out of hand with a infection. We took him to the Island Hospital, and received outstanding medical care inexpensively. Unfortunately, Ian's sores were excruciatingly painful, and contagious for a few days. So he spent 2 days quarantined in at the School Nurse's Office.
This afternoon, while on my way to the school cafeteria, I observed a "chain gang" of girls busting rocks... they said they were cracking them to reveal gems. Aria (on the far left) was very pleased with her haul!
Have a look at her haul! She is now the proud owner of a cup of rocks... I mean gems!
I enjoyed this breakfast of steamed glutinous rice with soy sauce embedded with chunks of dried shrimp paired with a few morsels of purple yam cake.
